¡°Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces¡± (Matthew 7:6).

Unfortunately, there were many great leaders in Korea who took their lives under misunderstandings, hatred, and curses. In common, they were born in a bad time alone with the ignorant people in the poorest countries.

If asked to pick up two, I would do President Syngman Rhee and President Park Chung-hee. They were too good leaders to the ignorant and bad-tempered Koreans.

If they were born in the United States, France, Britain, Germany, Japan, etc., they would certainly have become world-class leaders. They would have erected monuments, memorials, and statues of them everywhere. It¡¯s because they are the pride of the people and an example of their descendants.

Thanks to these great leaders, a country called Free Korea was established and stood tall as the world's top 10 economic powers.

Today, we can go to most countries around the world with our Korean passports. The passport symbolizes the country. Because the passport is directly proportional to the national power of the country.

Before the pandemic, about 30 million Koreans traveled abroad every year, enjoying these dream-like benefits. I'm one of them.

It's still like a dream to be born in the poorest country and live in the most free and richest country.

Of course, I know well that not everyone's mind is the same as mine. Some of them enjoy everything and pour out all kinds of swear words and curses. On the other hand, some people never forget gratitude and kindness even after eating a slice of bread and a sip of water. I don't know if it's a matter of the innate Korean mind, but it's true that it looks like a shameful Korean phenomenon.

Whenever I saw their statues, monuments, and memorial halls built in their own country, I imagined that great Korean leaders would soon stand tall not only in Gwanghwamun, the center of Seoul, but also all over the country.

Sincerely hope that the power of the Korean passport, which can freely go to most countries around the world, will continue after this presidential election. The future of free Korea depends on our smart and brave young people challenging the world.

  Thanks.
