안철수 의원은 지난 5일 서울 영등포역 동부광장에서 환경미화원들과 함께 거리를 청소를 하면서 “여의도가 정말 청소가 필요한 곳”이라고 말했다. 지난 1일엔 서울 노원 丙 지역구에서 앞치마를 두르고 나와 노인들에게 떡국을 나눠주는 모습을 보였다. 프랑스의 대정치인 드골이 살아 있었더라면 이런 말을 하였을지 모른다.
