According to the New York Times, S. Korea is giving up her constitutional right of doing her responsibility, the justice, and the right things. What is worse is S. Korea is succumbing to the injustice and evil things.

뉴욕타임즈에 의하면, 한국 은 자신들의 책임, 정의와 옳은 일들을 하는 헌법상의 권리를 포기하고 있습니다. 더욱 심각한 것은 한국은 불의와 악한 일들에 굴복하고 있는 것입니다.

If S. Korea is really an independent free country, injustice should never be allowed at any time. But the NY Times clearly shows that S. Korea is allowing such an injustice for the devil man, Kim Jong Il. It implies to me that S. Korea is not an independent free country any more, but a slave country controlled by the evil regime.

만일 한국이 독립적인 자유국가라면, 불의는 결코 용납되어서는 안되는 것입니다. 하지만 뉴욕타임즈는 분명하게, 한국이 그 악마 김정일을 위하여 그러한 불의를 허락하고 있다고 밝히고 있습니다. 이것은 한국이 더이상 독립적인 자유국가가 아니라 악의정권에 의해 조종되는 노예국가로 저에게 비쳐집니다.

Let me introduce how the NY Times declare the free world that S. Korea is yielding her sovereignty to the evil regime of Kim Jong Il.

South Korean security officials declined last month, once again, to issue a passport to Mr. Kim, one of the highest-ranking North Korean defectors. Officials said it would be too dangerous to allow Mr. Kim to travel to Washington to testify before a United States Senate committee.

뉴욕타임즈가 한국이 김정일의 악의정권에 그 주권을 내어주는지를 자유세계에 어떻게 선포 하고 있는지 소개를 해 보겠습니다.

한국보안관리들은 지난 달 다시한번 김덕홍씨(최고위층 탈북자중 한 사람)에게 여권발급을 거부했습니다.
김씨가 미상원 위원회에서 증언하기 위하여 워싱턴으로 여행하는 것을 허락하는 것은 너무도 위험하다고 관리들은 말합니다.

“Kim Duk Hong had just received his second death threat in two months: a plastic bag containing two vials of poison, an eight-inch knife and a letter accusing him of forming 'a tricky anti-North Korea association.' It warned: 'Now, the time is coming to pay for your sins.'

And then, the New York Times completely drives S. Korea to the corner by publishing what it has not been published in Korea:

“When the North called South Korean officials 'wicked terrorists' for airlifting 468 North Korean defectors from Vietnam to Seoul, the South promised not to do it again.”

그리고 뉴욕타임즈는 한국언론에서는 소개하지 않은 내용을 소개하며 한국을 완전히 코너로 몰아넣습니다 :

'468명의 탈북자들을 베트남에서 서울로 이송시킨 것을 두고 북한이 한국관리들을 ´사악한 테러리스트들´이라고 부르자 한국은 다시 그렇게 하지 않겠다고 약속했습니다.'

My Dear S. Koreans. At first time, I could not believe my eyes the line saying:

“THE SOUTH PROMISED NOT TO DO IT AGAIN.”

내 사랑하는 동포 여러분. 처음에 나는 그 구절을 보며 내 눈을 믿을 수가 없었습니다:
'한국은 다시 그렇게 하지 않겠다고 약속했습니다.'

Promise not to do it again? Oh, my goodness!! After you read it, if you can’t draw a picture a little boy begging a burglar’s mercy with his knees, something is very wrong with you and you don’t deserve to live in a free country. This article continues only to finally put S. Korea into a manure pail by adding the following shameful lines:

“Although South Korea has admitted only 5,000 North Koreans during the last half century, Chung Dong Young, the South´s unification minister, asked the private groups that were helping the North Koreans to stop.”

다시 그렇게 하지 않겠다는 약속이라구요? 오 이럴 수가!!
이 구절을 읽고 강도에게 무릎을 꿇고 자비를 비는 소년의 모습을 상상할 수 없다면 당신은 자유세계에 살 가치가 없습니다.

이 기사는 계속해서 다음의 부끄러운 구절을 더하며 결국 한국을 똥통속에 쳐넣어 버립니다.

'지난 반세기 동안에 한국은 단지 5000명의 북한사람들을 받아들였지만 한국의 통일부장관 정동영은 북한사람들을 돕는 민간단체들에게 중단할 것을 요구했습니다.'

Clearly, this article declares to this world that S. Korea has decided to give up her right and responsibility of doing justice and to succumb to the axis of the evil. In other words, the NY Times evidently speaks loudly to the free world that S. Korea has decided to join the evil power.

분명하게 이 기사는 세계에, 한국이 정의를 행할 자신의 권리와 책임을 포기하고 악의축들에게 굴복하기로 결정했다는 것을 단언하고 있습니다.
다른 말로 한다면, 뉴욕타임즈는 명백하게 온 자유세계에 대하여, 한국이 악의 세력에 합류하기로 결정했다는 것을 소리 놉혀 말하고 있는 것입니다.

Shamelessly, Ban Ki Moon, the South Korean foreign minister, said Seoul 'shouldn´t have to take unlimited responsibility for wandering North Korean defectors.' Wait a minute. Does he know that the United States, Canada, Brazil and Australia have admitted well over a million South Korean immigrants in recent decades?
The article continues to show enough evidence that S. Korea is no more an independent free country by adding:

뻔뻔하게도 외무장관 반기문은, 한국은 '떠도는 북한탈북자들에게 무제한적인 책임을 져야할 필요가 없을 것입니다'라고 말했습니다. 참 미국인 들 보기에 부 끄 러운 이야기 입 니다.
아 잠깐만요! 반기문씨는 미국, 캐나다, 브라질 그리고 호주가 최근 수십년동안 백만이 넘는 한국이민자를 받아준 사실을 알고 나 있습니까?

이 기사는 계속해서 다음과 같이, 한국이 더이상 독립적인 자유국가가 아니라는 충분한 증거를 보여줍니다.:

“In July, a South Korean Navy boat fired two warning shots at a North Korean patrol boat that crossed into South Korean waters. After North Korea angrily canceled inter-Korean military talks, the South Korean defense minister resigned and apologies were sent to North Korea.”

Would you mind listening to an American aid worker who recently spent several days in Pyongyang, North Korea´s capital?

한국국민 여러분! 최근 며칠 평양에서 지냈던 한 미국인 구호요원의 말을 들어보는 건 어떻겠습니까?

'What is needed is a phased development program that draws the North Koreans out and opens them up. But South Korea is doing a hodgepodge that is not going anywhere. The North Koreans are getting everything they need, without giving anything back.”

'필요한 것은 북한사람들을 외부세계로 이끌고 개방시키는 단계적 개발프로그램인 것입니다. 하지만 한국은 아무런 성과도 얻을 수 없는 뒤범벅 정책을 쓰고 있습니다. 북한은 원하는 모든 것을 얻고 있고 아무것도 남 한 에 내어주지 않고 있습니다'

This article mercilessly describes that S. Korea is so gracious to N. Korea’s mercy by adding:
이 기사는 북한측의 자비에 대하여 한국이 크게 자애로운 내용을 가차없이 이렇게 표현합니다.

“In what South Korean officials described as a major concession, North Korea started to allow their gifts to arrive from South Korea overland by truck, instead of by the far more expensive shipping route. Also, North Korean officials no longer require truckers to tape over their South Korean license plates.”
What a merciful action it is! Isn’t it?

'한국관리들이 북한의 주요한 양보라고 표현한 것에는 북한이 한국으로부터의 선물들을, 더 크게 비용이 들 해상운송 대신에, 트럭에 실어 육로로 받아들이는 것을 허락하기 시작했다는 것입니다. 또한 북한관리들은 더이상 트럭운전사들에게 한국번호판을 테잎으로 가리라고 요구하지 않습니다.'

To be honest with you, I can’t describe my feelings after I read this article. What should I say? Full of anger, discourage, or sympathy? I don’t know. One thing clear to us all is that the NY Times tells Americans it is too late for S. Korea to be reconsidered to be one of America’s real (real) allied countries.

솔직하게 말해서, 나는 이 기사를 읽은 후 내 심정을 표현할 수가 없었습니다. 무어라 내가 말을 해야하나요? 가득한 분노, 실망, 혹은 동정? 모르겠습니다. 한가지 우리에게 분명한 것은 뉴욕타임즈가 미국인들에게 한국이 미국의 진실한 우방국가들의 하나로 다시 여겨지기에는 너무 늦었다는 것을 말하고 있습니다.

Any solution to the current situation of S. Korea? Is it true that, as an American said last summer, it’s too late for strange, grotesque, arrogant, uncivilized, and unthankful S. Koreans? Then any good symptom in Korea? Not at all.

The rightists of Korea are still fighting against each other just like gamecocks and fighting dogs. Their fames are more important than freedom of their country. Winning a big money by winning a lawsuit is much more attractive than their own sacrifices for their county.

한국 현재상황의 해법은? 지난 여름 한 미국인이 말한 것처럼, 이상하고, 기괴하고, 오만하고, 야만적이고 감사할 줄 모르는 한국인들에게 이제 너무 늦은 게 맞습니까?.

한국에서는 좋은 징조가 있나요? 전혀요.
한국의 우익들은 여전히 싸움닭과 투견들처럼 서로 싸우고 있습니다. 그들의 명성은 조국의 자유보다 더 중요합니다. 소송에서 이겨 많은 돈을 얻는 것은 그들 조국을 위한 자신들의 희생보다 더욱 더 값진 것입니다.

To gain or hold popularity from small faithful groups, they make a reckless statement. All of a sudden, our great freedom/independence soldiers/fighters are forced to be labeled as the international murders/the international terrorists and even a head of the terrorist groups. How sorrowful it is to read an article saying our proud Vietnam veteran committed suicide a few days ago. Frivolous persons, who can’t hold their own tongue, do a flippant act by telling what should be not disclosed, so they try to get other big rightists involved in their fighting by reckless citing their names.

소규모의 충성(광신)조직들로부터 인기를 얻고 유지하기 위하여 그들은 분별없는 발언을 합니다. 갑자기 우리의 위대한 자유와 독립투사들이 국제살인자/ 국제테러범들로 그리고 테러그룹의 두목으로까지 낙인이 찍혀집니다. 며칠전 한 베트남 참전 용사의 자살은 얼마나 가슴 아파던지…

자신의 입을 제어할 수 없는 경망스러운 사람들은 하지 말아야할 말을 함으로써 경박한 행동을 합니다 그래서 그들은 분별없이 서로에게 싸움을 걸며 자신들의 싸움에 다른 거물 우익들을 끌어들이려고 합니다.

Though their mouths are calling for God, but their hearts run to their own glory. They are selling God for their stupid, self-righteous, and self-asserting messages and their mouths are full of curses, trash talks, and swearwords.

그들의 입은 하나님을 부르고 있지만 그들의 마음은 자신들의 명예를 향해 달려갑니다.

그들은 자신들의 어리석고 독선적이고 자기주장만하는 글들을 위하여 하나님을 팔고 있습니다 그리고 그들의 입은 저주와 무가치한 이야기들과 욕설들로 가득합니다.

Oh, God. Help us. Guide S. Koreans. Dispel the evil powers from S. Korea. Help S. Koreans wake up. Help us find your solutions and your way not ours. Help all Christian leaders earnestly repent and pray. Help them only regret that they have but one life to lose for their country.

오 하나님 우리를 도와주소서. 한국인들을 이끄소서. 한국으로부터 악의 힘을 쫓아내어 주옵소서. 한국인들이 깨어나게 도우소서. 우리로 하여금 우리의 것이 아니라 하나님의 해법과 방법을 발견하게 도우소서. 모든 기독교 지도자들이 간절하게 회개하고 기도하게 도우소서. 그들이 조국을 위해 바칠 목숨이 하나뿐이라는 것을 오직 아쉬워하도록 도우소서.

A crying voice from a pastor in Korea never leaves from my head, but resounds continually. It would last probably forever:

한국의 한 목사의 울부짖는 목소리가 내 머리를 떠나지 않습니다 하지만 계속적으로 울리고 있습니다. 아마내 머리 속에서 영원히 지속될 것입니다 :

”미국인들이여!
나의 조국 대한민국을 살려주세요.
다시한번 기회를 주신다면
미국인들이 대한민국의 자유를 지키기 위해서
이땅에서 순직한 미국인들의 은혜를
자손만대까지 기억하는 새로운 대한민국의 역사로 거듭나겠습니다.

이나라의 지도자를 보면서 화가 솟구쳐오르지만.

우익아저씨들은 나름대로 훌륭한 역할을 많이 하고 있지만 국민들 전체의 신뢰를 받기에는 그 인력들의 면면이 많이 나이가 들거나 또는 현대적인 그런 세련됨이 약하죠. 그리고 우익들보다도 정치권이 나서야하는 게 중요해요. 그래도 다행히 박대표가 그런 면에 많이 노력하고 있어요.

군은 그 사상을 알 수 없는 민간인으로 채워지게 될 거에요. 그리고 한국사회는 모든 세포하나하나 다 붉은 사람들이 차지하겠죠. 이제 어찌할 수 없는 흐름이에요. 기도외에는 방법이 없어요.

뉴욕타임즈가 오래 참은 거죠. 아마 이런 인식들을 대부분 가지고 있나 봐요. 하지만 많이 자제하고 있는 것도 같아요. 하지만 사실은 드러내야죠. 상처는 드러내야하고 고름은 터뜨려야해요. 그래야 해법이 나오죠. 한국은 이제 더이상 가망없어요. 국보법폐지 쪽으로 가고 있구요.
